Do you wonder why AccuRIP does not have "AccuRIP to Epson Drivers" for all the Epson Models on the market including some of the popular older models?
As business people, efficiency consultants, software engineers, and veteran screen-printers, we thoroughly examine the features and efficiency of each inkjet model for the purpose of film output, because that is what you will use your Epson for. We want your experience with AccuRIP, as well as with your inkjet, to be as productive as possible. We select and reject models after our intensive testing. What do we look for? The efficiency of ink delivery, the available resolutions, and the availability of Epson Drivers for current Operating Systems are just three of the many important features we examine.
So, new models will be added to the AccuRIP list of supported models and some rejected. Older models are dropped once it is determined that technology has surpassed them. We strongly suggest you follow our lead. First, choose the models supported by AccuRIP, and second, update your inkjet when the old favorite is no longer efficient, or supported by Epson and/or your current Operating System. Inkjets are very affordable devices. Maybe you're too young or new to the industry to understand how expensive film output was prior to Inkjets and a RIP like AccuRIP. Inkjets pay for themselves quickly. Some of our very favorite models are just a few hundred dollars. Low cost was one of the most attractive aspects for the industry to move to inkjets, so why are you so worried about making a change, or losing money spending so much time making an old printer work in a modern environment? Make good decisions and keep your company productive.
As software engineers we can build print drivers for all printer models. We want only the best printers for our users. We own the printers we build drivers for so we fully understand the user experience.
Still hanging on to an old Epson 3000? Over a decade ago it was a popular model (early days of the technology), but it was a higher saturation and lower accuracy printer as compared to the technologies today. Epson no longer supports the old 3000 as it has NOT engineered a DRIVER for the modern operating systems such as Windows 7. Struggling to make an old worn out low tech printer fit with your modern operating system and software and hardware is just a waste of your business time. Move on to a much better quality printer and improve your company. Wiser choice. We share the same goal - working efficiently.
We share the same goal - working efficiently!
All Black Ink Cartridges are available for some of the supported AccuRIP Inkjets. Why not all of them?
Ink delivery is critical. Not every Epson Inkjet uses the same system of ink delivery. Basically, not every model is created equal. Epson’s are great color printers without a doubt. As users of the device for making film output with black ink only your needs are very different. You can trust that our engineers have evaluated the models and deliver All Black Ink ability to the models that have met all of their criteria.
