This VALUABLE NEW feature in AccuRIP is a FREE software update for all AccuRIP users to take advantage of!
What is it?
The Droplet Weight (Density) Test Print is engineered to make choosing your INK DROPLET WEIGHT simple and efficient. The amount of ink that is needed to be sprayed onto your film will vary depending upon the ink type and brand, as well as the film type and brand. Using too much is a waste, and too little is inefficient.
After your AccuRIP is configured (Setup) and you are ready to determine which ink droplet weight is the best match for you, simply choose a resolution in the AccuRIP Setup and then choose the “Droplet Weight (Density) Test Print” option also located under the FILE MENU of AccuRIP.
Printed on one sheet of film will be 15 droplet weight options for that chosen resolution. Want more options?
Change the resolution and print another Test Print.
Examine the film to determine which droplet weight provides the best density and dry time to meet your needs.
Remember that waterproof film will offer you the better opportunities, because the emulsion layer on the film
will better “grab” the ink.

How do I get the FREE update?
If your version currently does not offer the 15 droplet weights (note: feature not available for the Workforce 1100
or the Epson 7000), simply go to the AccuRIP web site and from the downloads section select the UPDATE version and install.

Run the INSTALLER and install OVER the previous version. Open AccuRIP and note that a pop-up window will
appear to introduce you to the new feature in the software. The pop-up window will reappear until the TEST PRINT
is printed once.
