How do I know if my version is old?

Locate your VERSION and BUILD number under the Separation Studio Menu / ABOUT (Mac users) or the HELP Menu / ABOUT (Windows users) and compare it to the version shown on the website download page.

Higher Version and Build numbers are newer releases.

Should I deinstall the older version?

No, the update installer will handle both the removal of the previous version and install the newest version.
