    I really do like the results so far though compared to the fastrip, plus the fact we can use different brands of film. fastrip only works with fastfilm which is 5 times more expensive than some other brands out there.

    We were using FastRIP and all the films banned. We bought a new printer thinking that it was the printer but had the same trouble.

  • Accurip produced a far better...

    We were having issues with our films not being opaque and banding really badly, even bleeding in the tighter areas. The first film that we did was amazing and wow was I pissed. I made sure our graphic artist was doing everything as close as he could with the two programs and we compared the results. Accurip produced a far better film positive for us, I really don't know why, I don't really care, I'm just glad I don't have to worry about weak, banded film anymore.

    I am very impressed with the AccuRIP software. It seems to keep the print cleaner, prints faster, and has a much darker and consistent laydown on the film.

    Additionally, we appreciate the fact that it's being regularly updated as we've been stuck with TIGER and CS3 on our printer mac for the last year because F.R. didn't support further OS upgrades. Now we can run CS4 and upgrade to SNOW LEOPARD - like the rest of the design world. ;)

    By the way, after many years printing process-colors with different angels and nice rosettes we made our first test with Flemenco Printing. I was sceptical but as I saw the result!

    And, N'up Printing is a function I missed in other Rips I used.

    We have always used FastRip on Mac. Every month we had to reinstall the software. And sometimes, days to set up through our LAN to get through it. And I've just discovered your software and it's GREAT. EASY to use and FASTER than Fastrip. Also can prints smaller dots than fastRip can't print.

    I just separated a design out of spot process. It took me about 45 minutes to adjust and stuff. We threw it on the press and didn't need to make one adjustment. It printed frickin' perfect! I know it's not a great photo, but it printed tight! Just thought I'd say thanks again for spot process!
